LWAG 2016
Light-Weight Armour for Defence & Security
Grenoble, France
organized by Pr. Pascal FORQUIN (3SR LABORATORY/Université Grenoble Alpes).
LWAG is intended for all parties (industry, academia and research institutes) working in the field of light-weight armour for defence and security applications. Its goal is to help improving the design of armour materials or systems exposed to ballistic and/or blast threats
LWAG is interested in all armour materials such as ceramics, metals, all plastic materials such as polyamides and woven materials, metal matrix composites (MMC), ceramic matrix composites (CMC), metallic foams and other porous materials.
LWAG workshop aims at gathering ingeneers, researchers as well as PhD students developing experimental testing, theoretical works and numerical simulations at the material scale or the structural scale to improve the knowledge in this area.
The organizing committee welcomes you in Grenoble to make this symposium as successful and interesting as previous LWAG events.
